"Hold on!"

*He pushes the red button and the Trton flys quickly through the gate. After nearly missing Clutch the triton stops and Stands on the floor of the ship. Thisahons Voice can be heard through a Pa. System on the Triton.*

"Close the door... I feel a draft!"

Soul Reaver sits in the uncomfortable leather seat in the Thuderhawk, his eyes closed. However, they open once more when Kalana inquires if he has some way of contacting Asaki.

"No, not from here... at least, not easily at all. The interference from the Chaos Fleet and the large distances would require a massive expenditure of energy for me to penetrate. I can attempt it once we are on the planet, but even then the large distance will make it difficult."

With a jolt, the ship takes off and clears the Starblade's hangar bay.

Soul Reaver gazes out the tiny slits of reinforced glass set in the sides of the gunship. When it enters the atmosphere, he braces himself for re-entry, his hands gripping the arm-holds of his seat tightly.

Once they have cleared the cloud cover of the planet, he speaks once more.

"I will attempt to contact Asaki now."

He closes his eyes, mentally searching for the mental trace of his pupil... eventually, he finds a tenuous link.

For the first time in over a year, Asaki hears Soul Reaver's voice. It is distant, and quiet, but she can make it out nonetheless.

Asaki... return to the landing zone! I am en-route there even now. I would not suggest staying where you are now... I sense that-

Suddenly, the connection is severed. Asaki is startled by the unexpected ending of the mental link... and worse, with the landing zone still off in the distance, she suddenly hears the whine of Hoverbike engines behind her. She whirls around, to see twenty Chaos Hoverbikes heading towards her... each with a two-man crew in heavy armour... and with bolter guns primed and ready...

On the Thunderhawk gunship, Soul Reaver suddenly loses his concentration when the ship suddenly jerks violently to the side. A green flash outside and the sound of screaming metal outside herald that the Thunderhawk is under attack. The warriors look out of the portholes... and see a Chaos Interceptor hurtling rapidly through the air beside them... readying itself for another pass. The guns on the side are glowing green as it charges once more...

The Thunderhawks' bolter guns and lascannons fire, but the enemy ship is nible and well armoured.

Soul Reaver unbuckles himself from his seat and heads towards the ramp.

"Lower the ramp! I need access to the outside if I am to fight them!"

Before he can get to the ramp however, another blast tears into the flank of the ship, throwing Soul Reaver off his feet. He curses as he struggles back onto his feet on the constantly shifting floor...

Kalana scrambles for her comm unit, which had fallen out of her hand on the impact of the enemy's weapons. She manages to get ahold of it.

"Clutch! The gunship is under attack! Help us!"

"Thisahon! I have to go help Kalana and the others! I'm leaving the hangar doors open! Get down to the surface as quickly as possible, and head for Kelvaris! You know where it is! You've been here before, remember?"

cLuTcHFieND does not take the time to wait for the answer. He utters an incantation, and dissapears.

Secnonds later, a smaller hangar on the Starblade swings open, and a fighter blasts out of it. The fighter screams towards the planet at top speed. cLuTcHFieND sits in the cockpit, helmet on, tense with anticipation.

"You bastards. You've been killing innocent people, AND my men, and now you're attacking my friends. Well you know what they say....."

The fighter lurches as it begins it's re-entry, but it doesn't slow down.

".......payback's a bitch."

"Hey guys! I can't take both of them! I'm gonna need some help!"

“Bloody hell,” she murmurs beneath her breath and sits up, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

She breathes out a sigh and closes her eyes, only to be shook again by the attacks. This time she slides completely out of the seat and onto the floor, smacking her head against the arm of the chair.

“I’m coming with you,” she calls to Soul Reaver over the rumblings of the ship, rubbing the back of her head. “It’s the only way I can use my powers and sitting in that seat is not helping my stomach or the rest of my body.”

Once she is to her feet, she stumbles towards the ramp. Twice she is thrown into the wall of the ship, each time letting out an unladylike curse.

“I can throw one of them off course, while you attack the other!” she yells over the sounds of the ships screaming by as she reaches the ramp, holding onto the wall, knuckles turning white with effort.

Her olive eyes glow and she focuses on the fighter that Clutchfiend could not drive off. She pulls a hand free and lifts it, her curls flying wildly around her face. Bright green fire engulfs her fingers.

“A little closer...” she mumbles to herself and then brings her hand back, hurling a ball of green fire, a large amount of power contained in that bright energy.

The fighter is hit; it’s shield flaring before it pulls up and flies over the gun ship. For a few moments it is out of the way.

"Soul, I think you better get over there. She looks tired."

Tucking the capsule in the top of her pack carefully, she does as she is told and holds on. She grins as she is pressed back into the seat by the force of the triton going through the warp gate. As they land in the hangar, she leans forward, straining against the safety constraints as she looks at the screen. Her eyes widen as she listens to Clutchfiend speak. When he is gone, she looks at Thisahon.

Well that was short and sweet…didn’t even invite us in for drinks, she smirks slightly and then sits back. Shall we?

Back at the landing zone...

"Yes, Clutchfiend... that may be a good idea."

Soul Reaver sprints towards the warriors in the distance... his body begins to glow red... and then disappears in a flaming blaze.

Meanwhile, Asaki is rapidly slicing her way through her adversaries, but more keep coming. Bolter gun fire patters off the ground and lascannon beams sizzle through the air as the Chaos followers attempt to subdue their fierce opponent.

Asaki smashes an opponent off his bike with a green energy pulse... but is not quite fast enough to get out of the way of the careening bike. It hurtles towards her, crashing into the ground and clipping her in the back of the leg, throwing her to the ground.

She quickly looks up... and right into the fore-mounted barrel of a humming plasma gun.

"Enough of that! You're coming with u-"

Asaki looks on in a type of frozen fascination as a reddish line flashes vertically downwards through the warrior... through the bike...

A firey explosion consumes the Hoverbike and the warrior. A dark figure, holding a blood-coloured sword, steps from the flames. A black cloak swirls in the hot wind.

"Greetings to you, Asaki! Let us extricate ourselves from this predicament!" calls Soul Reaver.

He holds up one hand, and a blue flash of lightning consumes another Hoverbike, its fuel tanks exploding under the stress.

Asaki gets back to her feet and prepares for battle.

As cLuTcHFieND settles into a holding pattern above the landing zone, he scans the skies and the plains around him anxiously.

Thisahon.....where are you?

I guess I have some explaining to do. What I did, was collect my memories through your blood. I guess I should have asked first. Anyways, I found my past through you, and want to thank you. Unfotunately, you are very mad at me. I can feel your anger within me. It's all I can feel, because I have no feelings now. Well, I will tell you why I came back as well. From what I found out, I had both a mission to protect you, and unfortunately let my heart take control of me. I gave up that eternity for both of these reasons to come back. What I did not know was the price I had to pay when I became a risen vampire. Now, I am one of the cold-hearts. I have no emotions of feelings. All I have now is my mission now. That was the pledge I made in my blood. Although the council is gone, I still have this pledge of blood. It is that mission that will keep me alive. It is my physical drive or motivation. That mission is to keep you alive. I still feel your anger inside of me, and I guess it's a feeling I should get used to. The bond for you is far easier than the one for me. You can feel my presence, my thoughts, but not my emotions or feelings. For me, I can feel your pain, presence, and your emotions. It is a steep price to pay to come back. Unfortunately it will be my last. If I were to die, my soul will be destroyed. And if I fail my mission, I will die. In other terms, I can only be gone if you kill me, or if you die. I will let you think about this, and leave you alone, but I will not fail my mission Madaam. I promise your safety. As for the amulet, it is yours. I do not want it back. Well, I'll descend ahead of you to make a path, see you on the battlefield.

*Tamrissa turns, and see's the amulet sitting on her lap. Sabre Soldier turns around and flys towards the planet. Upon entering the atmosphere, he stops into a city nearby the landing facility where the others land, and battle.*

((OOC: I'll be joining you guys in a few. My character, and I have to pick up some new dress Attire. Something a little more me. I'm also very happy, because I got my new sword and new blade!!!!))

As the ship lands on the landing pad Halcon's eyes open. He quickly rises from his seat and runs towards the door. He stops as he reaches the end of the ramp. After carefully surveying the scene he runs towards the closest open area.

It looks like he is just asking to get shot by a sniper but as he reaches the spot his aura flares up quickly and he dissappears after muttering a prayer. The ground around Halcon's invisible feet starts to rumble. Large stones buried under the ground begin to shift and come together. Halcon raises his invisible arms and the rocks rise with him standing on top of them. He then opens his hands and lowers his arms, facing his palms down. He becomes visible and his arms are glowing green. The green glow flows from his arms down to the rocks.

Arise, Jobaber! Aid me in my battle!

After naming his new pet Halcon crosses his arms and issues it commands. The stone creature is huge, much higher than most buildings in the area. It has carvings in it, ovbiously prayers that Halcon has inscribed on it.

Now, lets show these Chaos Lords whose boss!

The golem moves must faster than you would expect for something made of stone. Mobs of the enemy charge at Jobaber, barely getting close enough to hit it before getting stepped on or squashed by one of its massive feet or fists.
